LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples’ Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will arrive in Lahore today to chair an important party meeting.
During a one-day visit, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address PPP workers via video link and also meet the provincial leadership of the party during his visit.
Before the coronavirus outbreak in the country, Bilawal was also in Lahore to launch an anti-government campaign; however coronavirus pandemic forced him to suspend all political activities and return to Sindh.
Earlier, the PPP chairman lashed out Prime Minister Imran Khan and demanded his resignation for destroying the economy. “The prime minister has only two options to either apologize for destroying the economy or step down from his position and let someone else take charge,” Bilawal said.
Bilawal said the government dropped a petrol bomb on public even before the passage of the annual budget, while oil companies reaped the benefited from the price hike. He asked how any adviser can issue a notification on oil prices which is supposed to be recommended by the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA).
