inDrive Delivery sees record growth during Ramadan and Eid, driven by service improvements

inDrive, the global peer-to-peer ride-hailing and delivery platform, has achieved its highest-ever growth in Pakistan’s delivery services during March 2025, with a record-breaking surge in demand during the week of Eid.

As families gathered for iftars, shared Eid gifts, and businesses prepared for one of the busiest retail periods of the year, inDrive was there to support them with fast, affordable, and reliable delivery services.

Compared to the previous month, deliveries grew by 14%, with March 30 marking the company’s busiest day to date in Pakistan, 1.5 times more completed rides than the previous Eid.

Among the most delivered items were food and beverages for evening meals, festive clothing and accessories, and essential medicines, showing just how deeply inDrive is embedded in the rhythms of daily life. Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad saw the highest demand, confirming inDrive’s strong presence across the country.

“This incredible momentum shows that we’re not just a delivery platform —we’re a part of the community,” said Muhammad Awais Seed, Country Lead at inDrive. “Our goal is to support people with services that are fast, fair, and easy to use — especially during meaningful times like Ramadan and Eid.”

inDrive’s growing popularity is driven by features that people and businesses already love. Individuals appreciate the freedom to choose their courier and negotiate prices using the platform’s unique model, which ensures flexibility and affordability.

High availability of couriers means that help is never far away, whether someone’s sending a last-minute iftar dish or a carefully packed Eid present. For instance, in Lahore, users can find a courier within 1-2 minutes, on average, a courier typically picks up a package within around 6 to 7 minutes, and delivers it in less than 30 minutes.

For business customers, inDrive offers tailored last-mile delivery solutions that simplify logistics. Companies can request deliveries to multiple addresses in a single trip, assign up to 200 orders at once, and customize delivery routes — all while monitoring progress in real time.

These tools help businesses stay responsive and efficient during high-demand periods, making inDrive a vital partner for retailers, restaurants, and pharmacies alike.

And the service keeps evolving. This spring, inDrive introduced a new feature, delivery confirmation code, to enhance security and peace of mind. Now, each delivery is verified through a unique code exchanged between the courier and recipient, ensuring safe and confirmed handoffs, even at the busiest times.

As inDrive continues to expand in Pakistan, its mission remains clear: to empower people and businesses, to offer practical and fair alternatives, and to be a trusted part of everyday life, especially when it matters most.
