Three people were killed and three children injured after a hand grenade exploded during a dispute inside a house in the Bahram Khel area of Lakki Marwat.
According to police, the blast killed a man, his sister-in-law, and his nephew, while three children sustained injuries in the explosion.
Police said an investigation is underway to determine how the hand grenade was present inside the house and the circumstances that led to the blast.
Last month, three bullet-riddled bodies were found at two separate places in Lakki Marwat.
According to police, unidentified gunmen had shot dead the three men and dumped their bodies in fields. Police further said that residents spotted two bodies in the Asmatabad area and informed the Ghaznikhel police.
A contingent reached the venue and shifted the bodies to the District Headquarters Hospital.
They said another body was found in the Khaisorewala area within the limits of Shaheed Asmatullah Khan Khattak police station of Serai Naurang town.
