CHRISTCHURCH: Pakistan cricket team on Thursday took part in a training session at Lincoln University as the Green-shirts preparing for the tri-nation tournament featuring New Zealand and Bangladesh.
As per details, the national cricket team trained in the indoor hall of Lincoln University where natural turf patches were made available for the visitors.

Earlier, chilly weather welcomed Pakistan Cricket Team to Christchurch. The Pakistan team flew to New Zealand from Lahore soon after the last T20I match against New Zealand. 16 players and 13 support staff are part of the Pakistan squad. All tri-nation series matches will take place at the same venue.
Naseem Shah has joined the playing XI, whereas Shaheen Shah Afridi also returned after healing from a knee injury. Afridi had missed the crucial Asia Cup 2022 and seven-match T20I series against England due to his knee injury. He was in London for his treatment and rehabilitation. He is part of the World Cup squad for the team.
In the tri-series, Pakistan will play its first match against Bangladesh on Friday, October 7th.
