LAHORE: Money laundering and asset references against Pakistan Muslim League (PML-N) President Shehbaz Sharif will be heard today.
According to details, a hearing will be held today on references against the PML-N President and his family regarding money laundering and assets in excess of income. Shehbaz Sharif and Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz will be presented in the accountability court.
The Lahore accountability court has already indicted Shehbaz Sharif and Hamza Shehbaz among others. The court also ordered the National Accountability Bureau to present its witnesses.

The NAB said that a complaint was received against Shehbaz Sharif by the SBP’s Financial Monitoring Unit on which we launched an investigation.
NAB said that Shahbaz Sharif and his sons set up nine business units from 2008 to 2018. In 1990, Shehbaz Sharif’s assets were 2.1 million and in 1998, his and his children’s assets reached 18 million.
