Lawyer Jibran Nasir has alleged that attempts are being made to alter the composition of the medical board assigned to oversee the exhumation and post-mortem examination of Mir Raza Ali.
In a post shared on X, Nasir said he had received information from what he described as credible sources indicating that pressure was being exerted to replace certain members of the board, including the Police Surgeon Karachi.
🚨ALARMING🚨 We’ve learnt from credible sources that undue pressure is being applied to change members of the board including removing Police Surgeon Karachi. Our Application in Court specifically prayed for Pol Surgeon Khi to head the board and Court allowed application as is.. https://t.co/jy0O8EMdyv

He noted that the family’s court application had specifically requested the Police Surgeon Karachi to lead the panel, and that the court approved the request without modification.
Nasir warned that any effort to restructure the board or remove its designated head would raise serious concerns about the integrity of the investigation.
He further stated that such a move could amount to contempt of court. According to Nasir, Mir Raza Ali’s family has made it clear that they will not agree to the exhumation if it is carried out by a newly constituted or differently composed medical board.
