LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Jahangir Tareen is likely to return to Pakistan next week.
Family sources said that doctors have given permission to Jahangir Tareen to travel and he is expected to arrive in Pakistan next week. Earlier on April 2, the Jahangir Tareen group of the ruling PTI had formally announced its support for Hamza Shehbaz, the joint opposition candidate for the Punjab chief ministership.
Jahangir Tareen Group MPA Noman Langarial along with Leader of Opposition in Punjab Assembly Hamza Shehbaz had said in a press conference in Lahore that the Tareen group will vote for PML-N in the election of Punjab Chief Minister, the group has made this decision for the betterment of the country.

The PTI-led Punjab government led by Chief Minister Buzdar registered fake cases against Jahangir Tareen and his family. Corruption was rampant in Punjab during the rule of Buzdar.
Speaking on the occasion, PML-N leader and Punjab Chief Ministerial candidate Hamza Shehbaz thanked Tareen Group for its support and standing with the joint opposition.
