SRINAGAR: Indian troops in their fresh acts of state terrorism on Saturday martyred four more youth in occupied Kashmir.
The troops martyred two youth each in South Kashmir’s Kulgam and Islamabad districts during cordon and search operations. Indian police and troops sealed all entry and exit points of the areas and conducted an operation in the area. The authorities also suspended internet service in the districts.
There have been protests demonstrations in the restive region as Indian troops continued acts of state terrorism and have martyred 23 Kashmiri youth, including young boys, during cordon and search operations since June 1.
According to reports, the troops besides killings have looted money, gold and other valuables and arrested dozens of youth and humiliated residents during the operations. They have also destroyed over a dozen houses during search operations.
In occupied Kashmir, the Jammu and Kashmir Young Men’s League and Jammu and Kashmir Students Youth Forum have said that they organised protest demonstrations in different areas of Kashmir Valley against the continued brutal killings of Kashmiri youth by the Indian troops.
The organisations in a joint statement said that hundreds of activists held protest demonstrations in different areas of Srinagar and condemned the raging wave of terror unleashed by Indian troops in the territory. The protesters raised high-pitched pro-freedom and anti-India slogans.
The speakers addressing the protesters slammed the Indian regime for its Hindutva agenda in the occupied territory. They paid glowing tributes to the martyred youth and reiterated the Kashmiris’ resolve to continue their liberation movement until it reached its logical conclusion.
