KARACHI: Gold and silver prices declined again in Pakistan’s local bullion markets on September 17, 2026, with the price of gold falling by Rs3,800 per tola and silver becoming Rs73 cheaper per tola.
According to the latest rates released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs3,800 per tola to Rs453,436.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also declined by Rs3,257, bringing it down to Rs388,749.
The association reported a decline in the price of 22-karat gold as well. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold decreased by Rs2,987 to Rs356,364.
Silver Prices Also Decline
Silver prices also moved lower in the domestic market.
According to the latest rates, one tola of silver fell by Rs73 to Rs6,869, while the price of 10 grams of silver declined by Rs62 to Rs5,889.
Global Market Rates
Gold and silver prices also recorded declines in the international market.
The global price of gold stood at $4,309 per ounce, down $38 from the previous level.
Meanwhile, the international price of silver was recorded at $63.91 per ounce, marking a decline of $0.73.
The latest movement in local bullion prices comes amid a decline in international gold and silver rates, with domestic prices reflecting developments in the global precious metals market.
