Gas Supply Suspended in Several Islamabad Areas Due to Pipeline Repair

ISLAMABAD: Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) has announced a temporary suspension of gas supply in several areas of Islamabad due to work on a main gas pipeline.

According to a notice issued by SNGPL, gas supply will remain suspended from 9pm on Monday, September 7, until 5am on Tuesday, September 8, due to the disconnection of the main pipeline near Khanna Pul, Service Road East, along the Islamabad Expressway.

The gas suspension will affect consumers in Ghauri Town, Faizabad East Service Road, Lehtrar Road from Khanna Pul to Burma Town, Sohan, Ghauri Town, Gulberg, Shakrial, Rehman Garden and adjoining areas.

SNGPL has advised consumers in the affected areas to make alternative arrangements during the suspension period.

The company has also urged consumers to keep their gas appliances switched off while the supply remains suspended to avoid any untoward incident.
