KARACHI: A fire suddenly broke out at the headquarters of the Karachi Metropolitan Corporation (KMC), engulfing the office of Karachi Mayor Murtaza Wahab. The fire was brought under control after firefighters responded to the incident, and no casualties were reported.
According to KMC officials, the fire started in the kitchen adjacent to the mayor’s office before spreading to the office itself.

Fire brigade officials said emergency response operations were launched immediately after the incident was reported, preventing the fire from spreading further.
Officials said the fire completely destroyed the Karachi mayor’s office. However, no injuries or deaths have been reported.
The cause of the fire and the extent of the financial losses have not yet been determined.
