ECP Disqualifies Zartaj Gul, Hamid Raza and Abdul Latif Over Failure to Declare Assets

ISLAMABAD: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has disqualified former National Assembly members Zartaj Gul, Sahibzada Hamid Raza and Abdul Latif for failing to submit their statements of assets and liabilities for the fiscal year 2024-25.

The ECP has also issued a written order detailing the disqualification of the three former lawmakers.

According to the commission, the three were disqualified for not submitting their required asset declarations for the financial year 2024-25.

The ECP stated that they will remain disqualified until they submit the required statements of assets and liabilities.

The commission further clarified that the three former lawmakers are currently ineligible to contest general elections, by-elections, Senate elections and local government elections.
