Mansehra: Unidentified gunmen shot five transgender persons in Mansehra.
According to reports, unidentified persons opened fire on eunuchs in Mansehra, injuring them and five others who were shifted to Ayub Medical Complex.
After the firing, a large number of transgender persons reached Ayub Medical Complex and protested against the firing incident. They demanded of the authorities to take action into the matter.
The incidents of killings of transgender persons have been reported in KP. In one such incident, one transgender person was killed and another injured when unidentified men opened fire on them here in the provincial capital’s Palosi neighbourhood, in what comes as the latest case of anti-trans violence.

The wounded person was transferred to the Khyber Teaching Hospital (KTH), police said, adding that the deceased transgender was identified as Gul Panra.
Shortly after the news surfaced, people demanded action be taken against the perpetrators and the hashtag #JusticeforGulPanra shot to the top trend in Pakistan.
An investigation into the homicide underway, they stated.
