Asia Cup: Pakistan beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets in Super 4 match

HAMILTON: Pakistan women’s team lost to Bangladesh on Monday in the twelfth match of the International Cricket Council (ICC) Women’s Cricket World Cup in Hamilton.

According to details, chasing 235 target for victory, Pakistan women team scored 225 runs at the loss of nine wickets at the end of the 50th over.

The bottom of the table clash saw a thrilling finale as Sidra Ameen’s century went in vain with Pakistan unable to chase down the 235-run target set by Bangladesh. At 155 for two after 37.5 overs, Pakistan seemed on course to register their first win but suffered an astonishing collapse that saw them lose five wickets for five runs.

Ameen waged a lone battle but Bangladesh bowlers did enough in the final five overs to emerge victoriously. Pakistan are still without a win in the tournament, having lost all four of their matches so far.
