Five flights scheduled to depart from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on Thursday were cancelled, while two flights were delayed due to technical and operational reasons.
According to details, Oman Air flight WY324 (Karachi to Muscat) was cancelled, while Air China’s Beijing-bound flight CA946 was also suspended.
Similarly, AirBlue flight PA110 (Karachi to Dubai) will depart at 9:30 PM after a delay of three hours, whereas AirBlue flight PA402 (Karachi to Lahore) will depart at 5:30 PM after a delay of four hours.
Furthermore, two AirSial flights from Karachi to Islamabad, PF125 and PF123, were cancelled, and AirSial flight PF143 from Karachi to Lahore was also cancelled.
According to sources, the main reasons behind the flight cancellations and delays are said to be technical complications and operational issues.
Airport authorities have advised passengers to confirm their flight schedules with the respective airlines before departure to avoid any inconvenience.
