KARACHI: Gold and silver prices declined in Pakistan’s local bullion markets on Thursday, with the price of one tola of gold falling by Rs5,600, while silver also recorded a significant drop.
According to rates released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs5,600 per tola on September 24, 2026, bringing it down to Rs448,336 per tola.
The price of 24-karat gold per 10 grams decreased by Rs4,801 to Rs384,375, while the price of 22-karat gold per 10 grams fell by Rs4,401 to Rs352,356.
Silver prices also declined significantly in the local bullion market. The price of one tola of silver decreased by Rs171 to Rs6,837, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs147 to Rs5,861.
Meanwhile, gold prices in the international market also declined by $56, bringing the price to $4,258 per ounce. International silver prices fell by $1.71 to $63.59 per ounce.
The decline in both international and domestic prices resulted in lower gold and silver rates in Pakistan’s bullion markets.
