KARACHI: K-Electric has issued a schedule for temporary power outages in several areas of the city on September 25, 2026, due to maintenance and essential repair work.
According to the company, electricity supply will remain suspended in different areas during specified hours, while some localities may experience outages until late at night.
The scheduled outages will affect feeders serving Abdul Manan, Adamjee Science College, Anna International, Badr Masjid, Bahadur Yar Jang, Bank Quarters, Bilal Chowrangi, Bilal Town, BSK School, Burma Oil, Bus Terminal, Crown Cinema, Defence 15, Defence 30, Diamond City, Eagle Squad, F South, Gas Turbine, Guru Mandir, Hussain 2, Jasinda, Jameel Masjid, Kaka Khel, K-E Workshop, Khando Goth, KHF Jamia Masjid and Korangi Telephone Exchange, among other areas.
Feeders serving Lady Dufferin, Lyari Expressway, Mai Field Colony, Memonabad, Muhammad Ali Park, Muneeb Kamil, Obaid Ashfaq, Old Town, PAF Chapter School, PIA Society, Pipe Factory, Rais Amrohvi, Revenue Office, SD Houses, Sakro Mor, Sector E-8, Sindh Alkalis, Sohail Shamsi, Sunni Wara, Supreme Steel, T&T Pipri, Taqi Centre, Unity Wilmar Agro, Zafar Ice and Zia-ul-Haq Colony will also be affected.
According to K-Electric’s schedule, outage timings will vary from area to area, with interruptions expected to take place between approximately 8am and 11:59pm. Some areas will experience outages for a few hours, while others may face relatively longer interruptions.
K-Electric said the temporary outages are being carried out as part of essential maintenance and repair work. Residents have been advised to check the outage schedule for their respective areas and make necessary arrangements in advance.
