Fawad Chaudhry questions benefits of multiple foreign trips by PM, FM

ISLAMABAD: Senior leader of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Fawad Chaudhry has questioned as to what benefit did the multiple foreign trips by Prime Minister and Foreign Minister serve to Pakistan.

His comments came within minutes after PM Shehbaz Sharif left for Doha, Qatar, to attend UN-led conference for the Least Developed Countries (LDC).

Taking to Twitter on Sunday, Fawad Chaudhry said “Shehbaz Sharif is once again leaving on foreign trip, while Bilawal has traveled all across the globe, what [favours] did so many trips have given to Pakistan?” Our closest friendly countries stand indifferent to Pakistan’s financial crisis. Kashmir and Afghanistan have never been mentioned anywhere for the last ten months.

The PTI leader said”there is a government of oppression and coercion within Pakistan. Human and political rights are being crushed. After Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, people are now becoming ‘missing persons’ in Punjab as well. As a nuclear state, our state capabilities are being questioned, and these all are the ‘fruits’ of unnecessary experiment by Establishment.”
