RAWALPINDI: The head of Awami Muslim League (AML) Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has once again predicted that the next hundred days are crucial for Pakistan’s politics as the country is facing economic and political challenges.
In a tweet posted on Saturday, the former interior minister alleged that the present government was ready to act as slaves, and there was no match to government’s art of begging.
He lamented that poor people were struggling to meet the ends but the “77 ministers” were enjoying perks and privileges in their rule on the country.
Taking a dig at the government’s efforts to revive the loan programme of the International Monetary Fund (IMF), he said the government was ready to become slave. “No one can compete with the government in art of begging,” he added.

Sheikh Rashid said instead of bringing dollars stashed abroad in foreign accounts, the rulers brought Ishaq Dar as finance minister.
Commending on political situation in Punjab, he said Imran Khan would take the decision of dissolving the assemblies or quitting them but asserted, “Election will take place at any cost”.
