3 cops injured as terrorists launch massive attack on DI Khan police post
DERA ISMAIL KHAN: At least three policemen were injured when a large number of terrorists attacked a police post in Kulachi area late last night.

According to details gathered by MM News from local sources, some 20 terrorists equipped with heavy arms attacked police post in Takwara, Kulachi tehsil. The terrorists fired RPGs and hurled hand grenades during the attack.

Local policemen fought bravely and repulsed the attack, during which three policemen were injured. It has been learnt that many terrorists were killed and injured by DI Khan police, bodies of whom were taken away by fleeing attackers.

After hearing the incident, DPO DI Khan Mohammad Shoaib rushed to the spot and shifted the injured cops to hospital. Talking to media, Mohammad Shoaib said it was the largest organized attack on any police post in Dera Ismail Khan’s history, which was successfully thwarted by brave policemen.
