DERA ISMAIL KHAN: At least three terrorists were killed and one arrested in injured condition in an encounter that took place in KP’s Dera Ismail Khan in the wee hours on Tuesday.

According to reports gathered by MM News, the counter terror and local police conducted a joint raid on the basis of a tip off in village Gira Mastan, in Daraban tehsil of DI Khan.
During the raid, the terrorists hiding in the area opened fire, which was effectively responded by the raiding party. As a result of retaliatory fire, three terrorists were killed on the spot while one of them was injured and arrested.

The terrorists who were neutralized in the operation were later identified as Muneeb, Junaid and Shaukat, all affiliated with banned out TTP’s Gandapur group.
The joint raiding team recovered arms, ammo, grenades and cell phones from their possession.
