KARACHI: Two men were crushed to death when a speeding trailer hit their motorcycle at Qayumabad bridge in Karachi’s Korangi on Monday evening.
According to details, the driver responsible for the accident has been arrested by the police, while the trailer has been impounded. The trailer driver reportedly lost control of his vehicle due to high speed and ran over the motorcycle.
The men were critically injured and died on the spot in front of horrified passersby. Rescue teams and the police arrived at the scene soon after the incident was reported and the bodies were shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) for medico-legal formalities.
Talking to M.M News, Station House Officer (SHO) Defence Azam Rajpar said that a mobile phone had been recovered from one of the deceased. The bodies were handed over to the family after medico-legal formalities were completed.
