The National Cybercrime Investigation Agency has pointed out more than five hundred social media accounts involved in anti-state activities and propaganda against the Pakistan Army.
As per media reports, these social media accounts were involved in an organized campaign against the state of Pakistan and the Pakistan Army.
Special teams of the investigation agency are now analyzing the posts made by these accounts on social media. Data of the people operating these accounts is being collected, and they may be charged with destabilizing the state.
It should be noted that amid rising tensions between Pakistan and Indian, some elements in the country are busy spreading false and negative information about the state, particularly against the army.
As per media reports, some people allegedly belonging to a political party raise questions about the ability of the state and the Pakistan Army to defend against Indian aggression.
Most of the social media accounts involved in anti-state activities are operating from abroad.
