The Pakistan Meteorological Department has forecast hot and humid weather across Karachi over the next three days, with a chance of isolated dust-thunderstorms or light rain on the city’s outskirts on Tuesday.
Temperatures on May 6 are expected to peak between 37°C and 39°C, with a minimum of 27.5°C recorded earlier in the day.
Humidity stood at 49% in the morning and is projected to remain between 45% and 55% by evening. Winds will shift from the northeast to south/southwest later in the day.
Similar weather is expected on Wednesday, May 7, with highs between 36°C and 38°C and lows of 27°C to 29°C. Morning humidity will range from 70% to 80%, while evening levels will hover around 50% to 60%.
Thursday, May 8, will continue the hot and humid trend, with maximum temperatures between 35°C and 37°C. Wind direction will remain south/southwesterly.
Light rain and dust-thunderstorms are also forecast for nearby districts including Jamshoro, Tharparkar, Badin, Thatta, and Sujawal.
