Trump tweets about telephonic conversation over Kashmir issue

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump on Tuesday said that he talked to prime ministers of both India and Pakistan over Kashmir issue.
In his tweet, Trump mentioned holding separate telephonic conversation with Narendra Modi and Imran Khan. The US president has urged both nations to reduce tensions over Kashmir issue.

He remarked that the situation is tough, but he had a good conversation with both the prime ministers.
The US President conveyed the importance of reducing tensions between India and Pakistan and maintaining peace in the region.
Trump during the telephonic conversation, reaffirmed the need to avoid escalation of the situation and urged restraint on both sides.
Earlier, the Indian government ended the autonomous of occupied on 5th August, stepping up movement restrictions and cutting off phone and internet access to head off civil unrest.
