The Imam and Khateeb of Masjid al-Nabawi, Sheikh Dr. Ali Al-Hudhaifi, will deliver the Hajj sermon this year, according to Arab medida reports.
The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques announced that Sheikh Ali Al-Hudhaifi will give the Khutbah-e-Hajj at Masjid Nimrah in Arafat on Tuesday, May 26 (9 Dhul Hijjah 1447 AH).
Sheikh Al-Hudhaifi is widely regarded as one of the most prominent Quran reciters in Saudi Arabia and across the Muslim world. He has previously served as Imam and Khateeb at Masjid Quba and Masjid al-Haram.
Meanwhile, Dhul Hijjah has begun in Saudi Arabia, marking the start of the final month in the Islamic calendar. The key ritual of Hajj, Wuquf-e-Arafat, will be observed on May 26, while Eid-ul-Adha is expected to be celebrated on Wednesday, May 27, 2026.
