Law enforcement agencies in Karachi have arrested three suspects, including Fozia Baloch and her sister Sakina, in connection with an alleged drug trafficking network supplying ice (methamphetamine) and heroin across major cities.
Officials said the operation targeted a group involved in moving narcotics from Peshawar to Karachi via Islamabad, with investigators uncovering details of a wider supply chain and identifying several key individuals during interrogation.
According to investigators, the arrested suspects include Mola Bakhsh and Sakina. Authorities said Sakina is the real sister of Fozia Baloch. During interrogation, officials uncovered details of a drug trafficking network supplying narcotics from Peshawar to Karachi via Islamabad, along with the identities of several key individuals involved.
Investigators revealed that Fozia Baloch named Shoaib Baloch, Anis, and Javaid as central figures in the network. It also emerged that five individuals based in Peshawar were involved in supplying drugs to Karachi.
Authorities further said that a person named Shakoor, who is allegedly employed in a government institution, has also come under suspicion. In her statement, Fozia Baloch claimed that an individual named Abdul Shakoor was responsible for supplying ice and heroin from Peshawar.
Officials said high-quality ice was being sold for up to Rs200,000 per kilogram.
Law enforcement agencies added that efforts are ongoing to trace other members and facilitators of the network. The arrested suspect has been sent to jail on judicial remand.
