KARACHI: PTI has announced to knock on the door of the Sindh High Court to challenge the decision of postponing local body elections in Sindh.
According to the details, while addressing the gathering in Hyderabad, former Minister of Naval Affairs Ali Zaidi said that Tehreek-e-Insaf condemns the postponement of local body elections in Sindh by the Election Commission. The commission proved itself more controversial, he said.
While addressing the gathering, PTI Sindh President Ali Zaidi said that Tehreek-e-Insaf will challenge this decision in the Sindh High Court. “The Election Commission, which was already controversial, became more controversial after this decision,” he said.

The Election Commission said that the request to postpone the elections came due to the forecast of rains. Apart from MQM, Chief Secretary and GDA, the Provincial Election Commissioner was also against holding the election. Municipal elections will be held on August 28.
