Police detain woman supplying ice drug by rickshaw in Karachi

KARACHI: Police officials on Wednesday detained a woman along with an accomplice from Sohrab Goth area on charges of supplying ice drugs to posh areas and universities through an auto rickshaw.
Police authorities told media that a woman and her accomplice were detained in the Sohrab Goth area on charges of supplying ice drug. They said she used to sell ice and other kinds of drugs by rickshaw that her husband or son normally drove to avoid getting caught by police.

The arrested lady, Gul Bibi, and her accomplice named Inayat, who smuggled ice drug from Balochistan to Karachi that was supplied from Sohrab Goth to different posh areas and universities.
The police team also confiscated ice drugs and other substances from their possession. The gang had been detained twice in the past while further investigation is ongoing, police said.
