GWADAR: The Pakistan Coast Guards and Army today (Wednesday) seized 99 kilogrammes of the crystal (methamphetamine) during a raid in Balochistan’s Pasni area.
According to details, the forces conducted a search near mountains and recovered ‘high-quality’ drugs from camels carrying goods. A spokesperson for Coast Guards informed that the forces have also arrested the smuggler.
The Coast Guards spokesperson further informed that the drug was to be smuggled to other countries through the sea route. The cost of the drugs is estimated to be Rs30 million in the international market.
Earlier in September, Pakistan Coast Guards seized 2192 kilograms consignment of hashish from Pasni in Balochistan. The cost of the recovered high-quality hashish in the international market was estimated up to staggering Rs 3.63 billion.
