Gold prices witnessed an increase in Pakistan on Saturday in line with a hike in the prices of the yellow metal in the international market.
As per the rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of per tola 24 karat gold reached Rs358,465 after a gain of Rs1,465 during the day. Similarly, 10-gram 24 karat gold was sold at Rs 307,325 after it gained Rs 1,256.
This increase came after a drop in the previous session, when gold per tola had declined by Rs1,595, closing at Rs357,000 on Friday.
The global gold market also witnessed changes, with the price of gold per ounce rising by $13 to reach $3,369.
The silver prices in Pakistan, however, witnessed a decline, with the price of a tola of 24-karat silver falling by Rs11 to reach Rs3,785, and the price for 10 grams of silver declining to Rs3,245.
