In Karachi’s Quaidabad area, a citizen mistakenly taking a neighbor’s motorcycle proved costly, as gunfire left three people injured.
A police officer, in a fit of rage, opened fire, injuring three individuals including two children. Three suspects involved in the Landhi Sherpao Colony shooting have been arrested.
Regarding the incident, SP Malir informed the media that the arrested suspects include Safdar, Muzammil Kaleem, and Shahid Kaleem. The weapon used in the incident has also been recovered by the police.
According to SP Malir, the arrested suspect Safdar is an ASI posted at Sachal Police Station, while a person named Saran had mistakenly taken his neighbor’s motorcycle.
Police officials stated that Saran informed the neighbor of his mistake and returned the motorcycle. During this time, an argument broke out between the two, which was settled by local residents.
When Safdar learned of the dispute involving his relatives, he arrived at the scene armed. His gunfire injured 12-year-old Fawad, 5-year-old Ayesha, and 30-year-old Sharafat. A case is being registered against the arrested suspects.
