RAWALPINDI: The Pakistan Army today (Sunday) shot down yet another spy quadcopter that intruded across the Line of Control (LoC) into Pakistani territory.
Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a Twitter post said, “Pakistan Army troops shot down an Indian spying quadcopter in Pandu Sector along Line of Control (LoC).

“The quadcopter had intruded 200 meters on Pakistan’s side of the LOC. This is the 10th Indian quadcopter shot down by Pakistan Army this year,” the military’s media wing informed.
Earlier on June 28, Pakistan Army shot down 9th Indian spy quadcopter, which had intruded 850 meters on Pakistan’s side of the LoC.
Another quadcopter had intruded into Pakistani territory in June and was shot down in Khanjar Sector along the LoC. It had crossed 500 meters on Pakistan’s side of the border.
Earlier in June, Director-General ISPR Major General Babar Iftikhar had warned India that Pakistan would respond with full might to any misadventure and that it should not play with fire.
Maj Gen Iftikhar had said that Pakistan was ready for any military adventurism and there would be uncontrollable and unintended consequences. “Pakistan Army’s capability was demonstrated in its response last year,” he added.
