KARACHI: Armed robbers allegedly looted Rs1.7 million (Rs17 lakh) in cash from a dairy trader in Clifton Block 8.
The victim, Muhammad Faizan, son of Muhammad Akhlaq, told police in his complaint that he was returning home with a friend after collecting payments from shops when armed suspects intercepted them near his residence.

According to the complaint, the suspects held the trader at gunpoint and snatched Rs1.7 million in cash before fleeing the scene.
The victim said that seven armed suspects, riding three motorcycles, were involved in the robbery.
Police have launched an investigation into the incident. CCTV footage from cameras installed around the area is being examined to identify and trace the suspects.
