Pakistan lauded by Sikh community on Kartarpur Corridor

Pakistan issues memorial postage stamps to Sikh pilgrims
LONDON:  The leaders of the Sikh community have appreciated the government of Pakistan for taking initiatives and making a commitment to the opening of the Kartarpur Corridor.

Pakistan High Commissioner to Britain Nafees Zakaria has met Sikh community leaders in London. Both sides during the meeting discussed matters of mutual interest and views on the arrangement for the upcoming 550th Birth Anniversary of Baba Guru Nanak in Pakistan.
They have also expressed their gratitude to Zakaria for setting up a special help desk at the Pakistani High Commission to assist in the visa application process for the Sikh pilgrims from Britain.
