KARACHI: Gold prices recorded a significant increase in Pakistan’s local bullion markets, pushing the price of gold above Rs440,000 per tola.
According to data released by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold rose by Rs5,900 per tola on October 9, 2026, taking the new rate to Rs440,936.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs5,058 to reach Rs378,031.

Gold prices also moved higher in the international market. The price of gold rose by $59 per ounce, reaching $4,184.
The increase in international gold prices was reflected in Pakistan’s domestic bullion markets, raising the cost of gold for local buyers.
