KARACHI: Police and security forces personnel on Sunday recovered more items during the course of a final search conducted at Karachi police office, sight of Friday’s terror attack.to tighten security.

The attack led to an hours-long siege and floor-by-floor operation by security forces in which all three attackers ended up being killed, while four people including two policemen, a Rangers’ Jawan and a civilian lost their lives, while 19 others were injured.

According to reports gathered by MM News, the search operation was conducted on the instructions of top officials and covered the entire area, including the building, parking, and adjoining sections in which teams from police, army, bomb disposal squad and rangers took part.

During the search, the security forces recovered 12 more accessories that were believed to have been used by terrorists. The seized items included hand grenades, two pistols packed in plastic boxes with complete accessories, watches, wallets, used and unused 210 bullets, USBs, pistol holders, and suicide jackets. Additionally, 9mm bullet packets, a dagger, a digital camera, and smart mobile phones were also recovered.
MM News has learnt that all of the items were handed over to the Saddar police by the bomb disposal team.
