The medical report for Natasha Iqbal, the female driver who tragically killed a man and his daughter in the Karsaz area of Karachi on August 19, has confirmed that she is a drug addict.
According to Geo News, the police intend to submit the report to the court while keeping it out of the public eye. The report revealed the presence of prohibited substances in her urine samples, and it was sealed for 2 to 3 days.
On the evening of August 19, Natasha Iqbal, wife of prominent Karachi industrialist Danish Iqbal, struck and killed the victims with her speeding SUV after colliding with bikers and pedestrians.
Natasha Iqbal, the wife of Danish Iqbal, CEO of Metro Power Company Ltd. and a member of the Gul Ahmed family, has been taken into police custody.
The Karachi City Court has placed her under physical remand. Initially, her defense lawyer claimed that Natasha was suffering from mental health issues and had been admitted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre (JPMC) following a head injury. However, hospital records show that she was discharged as fit after medical evaluations, with doctors stating that she required no immediate psychiatric care.
This incident has sparked widespread outrage on social media, with many accusing the family of using their influence to evade justice.
