A video circulating on social media shows a woman arguing with a staff member at a London pub after being denied entry due to a badge depicting the Palestinian flag.
The footage, reportedly filmed on Saturday, captures a tense exchange at the entrance of The Red Lion in Westminster, where a security guard blocks the door while the woman confronts the employee.
Pointing to the Palestinian flag on her jacket, the woman argues, “If I were wearing an American, English, or Ukrainian flag, you wouldn’t ask me to remove it—that would be considered offensive. If it were a rainbow or pride flag, you wouldn’t stop me. No, you wouldn’t.”
The staff member consistently responds, “Yes, I would.”

The Red Lion, located near Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament, is known to be a popular spot for politicians and civil servants.
A spokesperson for the pub told the Daily Mail: “Given our location on Whitehall, we are often on the route of protests from various political groups. We strive to be a place open to all, ensuring equality and maintaining neutrality inside the pub.”
