KARACHI: The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted scorching temperatures for Karachi starting Thursday.
According to the latest PMD report, Karachi is expected to experience hot and humid weather for the next two to three days.
On Wednesday, the highest recorded temperature was 34.7°C, which is close to the seasonal average of 35.7°C. However, the PMD anticipates that temperatures will rise above normal, reaching 36°C on Thursday and Friday.
Despite the heat, the sea breeze is expected to continue blowing through the city.
Earlier this week, the restoration of sea winds had brought some relief to Karachi residents who had been enduring heatwave conditions for almost a month.
