SWABI: Speaker National Assembly Asad Qaiser has said that the National Assembly session will be convened soon and international forces are involved in the no-confidence motion.
Addressing the conference, the Speaker of the National Assembly said that the public interest of Pakistan comes first and Prime Minister Imran Khan has brought an independent foreign policy for the first time. “Pakistan is a free and independent country, all will have equal relations with the world, we will not take anyone’s dictation,” he said.
He said that it was the right of the opposition to bring a no-confidence motion. “International forces were involved in the no-confidence motion but Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stood firm and its ally Imran Khan.
He said that no-confidence is the legal right of the opposition and the members of Pakistan PTI in the National Assembly would oppose it. Asad Qaiser said that the lack of confidence in the prime minister by the opposition has further increased the confidence of the people in Imran Khan. “There is no precedent in history,” he asserted.
He said that recitation of Holy Quran was started in schools till 5th and translation of Holy Quran was started till 10th. Our government introduced stipends for imams and enacted legislation against usury, he added.
