WASHINGTON: The International Monetary Fund (IMF) has advised Pakistan to speed up the process of reforms for economic stability.
According to the details, the Resident Chief of IMF in Pakistan, Esther Perez, urged Pakistan to speed up the process of reforms for economic stability and said that there is a need for timely preparation of the recovery plan in Pakistan.

Regarding the negotiations with the IMF, Pakistani officials say that the statement clearly indicates that Pakistan and the IMF are negotiating to finalize the macroeconomic and financial framework. Officials said we shared a revised financial framework with the IMF, and disbursements of Rs 103 billion related to flood-related Benazir Income Support and recovery costs will be included in the Rs 150 cap.
