What Is the Aalto Science Institute International Summer Research Program 2026?
The Aalto Science Institute International Summer Research (internship) Program invites 50 highly talented, research-driven students to join cutting-edge projects, collaborate with leading research groups at Aalto University, and engage with a vibrant international community. Alongside professional development, participants enjoy cultural and social activities that make this summer experience in Finland both enriching and rewarding.
The internship positions are offered across seven departments within the Schools of Science, Chemical Engineering, Engineering, and Electrical Engineering.

Applicants must carefully review the summer research program web pages, including the FAQs. On the application form, you must indicate at least one project and can select up to three projects. However, you are only allowed to submit one application form in total.
