Famous US sitcom Friends cast recently reunited after 17 years in HBO’s The ‘Friends: The Reunion’.
There have been reports that each cast member was offered a whopping $1million for the HBO Max special but they all turned it down but it was turned down by the cast members.
Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, and Matt LeBlanc then reached an agreement that each of them would at least be paid $2.5million after which they were ready to sit down and reminisce the ten years they spent together on the set of the show.
The reunion was shot on the show’s original soundstage, Stage 24, on the Warner Bros. Studio lot and was more successful than anyone had anticipated. Friends: The Reunion Special set a record as the most-watched one-off event programme ever for Binge, which hit its one-year anniversary this week.

As well as the show’s core cast, the Friends reunion also featured some big-name cameos including Tom Selleck and Maggie Wheeler are also seen in the trailer. HBO Max earlier announced a bunch of guest stars who will be participating in the special. Friends: The Reunion will have appearances from Christina Pickles, James Michael Tyler, Reese Witherspoon, Malala Yousafzai, South Korean juggernaut BTS, Lady Gaga, David Beckham, Justin Bieber, James Corden, Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Elliott Gould, Kit Harington, Larry Hankin, and Mindy Kaling.
