Gold prices in Pakistan continued their downward trend on Friday, mirroring declines in the international market. The price of gold per tola dropped by Rs1,800, settling at Rs350,900 in the local market.
Similarly, the rate for 10-gram gold fell by Rs1,543, bringing it to Rs300,840, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, gold per tola had already seen a significant dip of Rs4,200, closing at Rs352,700.
The global gold market also witnessed a decline, with the international price slipping by $18 on Friday to $3,325 per ounce (including a $20 premium), as reported by APGJSA.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained unchanged, holding steady at Rs3,417 per tola.
