Citizens of Karachi are facing difficulties in land and air travel due to yesterday’s heavy rainfall. The flight schedule at the Jinnah International airport has also been affected.
According to details, the road sank near MA Jinnah Road in Karachi. The road leading to the lighthouse from the exhibition has been closed to traffic.
The city administration mobilized to repair the sunken road. Debris is being dumped on the road. Traffic is being diverted to one track.
Due to traveling on one track, the citizens are facing difficulties in transportation and fear of traffic jams. The sewerage system has been disrupted due to yesterday’s rain.
Due to bad weather, the schedule of domestic and foreign flights at Karachi Airport has been affected. Some flights have been canceled while others have been delayed.

At Jinnah International Airport, there was a rush of citizens coming to receive the passengers. Delays in flights are increasing the difficulties of the citizens.
Karachi on Wednesday night witnessed a heavy rain with the gusty wind which turned the weather pleasant, however, due to different rain-related incidents four people, including two children, were killed.
According to reports, heavy and light rain was witnessed across all areas of the city. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) said that the rain lasted for an hour at least.
