The funeral prayer of the martyred Major, who was martyred in the operation against terrorists, was offered in Rawalpindi.

The funeral prayer of Major Sibtain Haider, martyred in the operation against the Indian proxy group “Fitna al-Khawarij,” was offered at Chaklala Garrison, Rawalpindi. The martyred Major bravely fought against the terrorists and embraced martyrdom.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), Major Sibtain Haider was martyred by terrorists’ firing during the operation. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid tribute to the martyred Major. The Prime Minister stated that the Fitna al-Khawarij or any group holding misguided ideologies will not be allowed to succeed.

In the Pakistan Army’s operation in Dera Ismail Khan, seven Indian-backed Khawarij were killed, while Major Sibtain Haider embraced martyrdom.

It is worth remembering that earlier, on October 8, 2025, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Daraban area of Dera Ismail Khan.

The operation was carried out on information regarding the presence of terrorists belonging to the Indian proxy, according to ISPR.

During the operation, due to the effective action of Pakistan Army soldiers, seven Indian-backed Khawarij were killed, while during intense exchange of fire, 30-year-old Major Sibtain Haider, a resident of Quetta and leader of the operation, bravely fought and attained the high status of martyrdom.

Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the possession of the killed Khawarij. These terrorists were involved in several terrorist activities against security forces, law enforcement agencies, and innocent civilians.
