Dengue cases continue to rise in Rawalpindi

Dengue cases continue to rise in Pakistan. In the number of dengue cases in Rawalpindi, 81 more people have been infected with the dengue virus in the city during the last 24 hours.

 The health department said that the number of dengue patients this year has reached 1735. According to the district administration, the number of dengue patients in allied hospitals is 130, while the condition of 2 patients is critical.

On the other hand, dengue virus cases started to increase rapidly in Quaid city, 261 more cases were reported. Due to the rapid spread of dengue fever in the city of Quaid, there is a shortage of space in hospitals, due to which beds have been increased in many government hospitals.

In this regard, the Sindh Health Department says that in the last 24 hours, 323 more dengue cases were reported in Sindh province, of which 261 cases are related to Karachi.

The number of people who have died due to dengue in Karachi has reached 27, with the highest number of deaths has been recorded in District Central, 13.
