ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said that the Afghan people have seen many hardships and suffered a lot, now they want peace in their homeland Afghanistan.
According to details, the foreign minister in a statement said that India keeps spreading fake news against Pakistan which is nothing new for us and Pakistan knows how to respond to baseless propaganda.
In a statement, FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi rejected Indian propaganda and said that India was also facing international embarrassment over baseless video clips made on a so-called Pakistani plane in the Panjshir region of Afghanistan.
FM Qureshi said that Pakistan wants to see its neighbour Afghanistan stable. The Afghan people also suffered immensely, now they want peace while Iran has agreed to our proposals, he added.
Earlier, FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that if there is peace and stability in Afghanistan, then the whole region will benefit from it. If Afghanistan is left alone, it will be to the detriment of all.
Talking to the media last month, FM Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that neighboring countries were fully aware of the current situation in Afghanistan. “During the four-nation tour, I had the opportunity to meet with the leadership to find out their views on Afghanistan,” he asserted.
