KARACHI: Panic prevailed in different areas of Karachi’s Lyari after strange metal objects fell from the sky, which is now have been confirmed by a Flywheel machine.
According to Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) West, the metal objects were the pieces of a boiler that burst at an iron factory located in Haroonabad, injuring two women.
The explosion caused heavy loss to the factory. The blast was so intense that the roof of the factory was blown up. Eyewitnesses said that heavy objects fell at three different places in Pak Colony and the site area, while the incident damaged the graves at Mayo Shah Cemetery and roofs of three houses.
Meanwhile, Station House Officer (SHO) Shershah Muhammad Rafique said that the police are investigating the matter while the heavy iron parts were sent for analysis.
